Collegiate Young Farmers Trips

Agricultural Technology students and staff are heavily involved in the Collegiate Young Farmers Chapter. The student group is affiliated with the Virginia Farm Bureau Young Farmers (YF) and attends the Virginia YF Expo and the National Young Farmers and Ranchers Conference (YF&R) each year.

Last year the students traveled to the YF&R Conference in Des Moines, Iowa and made stops along the way to tour the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Fair Oaks Diary in Indiana, John Deere Museum in Moline, Illinois, and Buffalo Trace Distillery in Franklin County, KY. The students also participated in the Virginia YF Expo held in Blacksburg, VA.
