Overview
Leadership can be seen as the accepting of responsibility and accountability, to know when to lead and when to follow, and to have the desire to create positive social change in the community and the world.
Eligibility (Who can apply / be nominated)
Selection for Outstanding Undergraduate Leader will be based upon academic achievement and overall leadership and service within the Virginia Tech community.
Selection Criteria (How recipients will be chosen)
Recommendations should include specific information and examples about the variety and/or impact of the individual’s overall leadership and involvement.
Nominees must have been members of an officially listed student organization and had a leadership role for at least one calendar year.
Students must be currently enrolled or involved in a co-op/internship and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8
Packet Requirements (What to submit)
All applicants must submit an application cover sheet, recommendation form, and activities resume.
