Description

Overview:
This program began last fall when POWERade teamed up with CBS College Sports and NIRSA (National Intramural Recreation Sport Association) to execute the first ever national Intramural campaign. A pilot program was run with 8 schools participating in flag football of fall 2007. The success of the pilot program led into a 33 school program for basketball in the spring of 2008. CBS College Sports supported the program by creating the first ever social networking site for intramurals as well as actively participated in the intramural seasons on each campus.

CBS College Sports Network is hiring three students on your campus to run the Fall 2008 POWERteam. This position will require 4-5 hours per week and the focus will be Intramural Flag Football in the fall and Basketball in the spring. We will hire per semester but there is opportunity to work both semesters (Fall 08 and Spring 09) if you are doing a great job. The POWERteam will be fully responsible for a successful execution of the program and will work very closely as a team with the Intramural Department.

Time Commitment: Late August – November, each school’s flag football season will differ greatly per school but you will work for the duration of the season
