Description
Strong agricultural and horticultural background to run and devote time
to the production of a 25 acre hop farm that will be expanded.
Planting, cultivating and harvesting of this crop and distribution.
Full Time Land Manger of 80 acre farm upkeep, Self Motivated-person that
takes initiative and needs little direction,.
Must be able to operate tractor with mower, box grader, tiller etc.,
Mowing is required. Equipment Maintenance-preventative and repair of
equipment, light repairs-maintenance surrounding infrastructures, and
sound communication skills- advocate for absentee owner’s interests at
all time, record keeping.
General love of horticulture and living in the country. Record keeping
on activities, expenses, production, U.S. citizen or permanent residence
status in the U.S. and proficient in English. This is a working
position, Non Smoker, No in door pets.
Job includes salary and housing on site. Need to be self insured for
health care benefits-not included.
Horticulture/agriculture degree, with at least 1 year experience
must be able to drive tractors, tiller, mowers expand the foot print of
the hop farm, preparing the soil, planting, building trellises for
plants, must have valid driver’s license. College graduate preferred.
