Description
Southern States Cooperative, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Field
Sales Associate that will specialize in the Equine market. The
qualifications include a B.S. degree, preferably in Animal Science and,
3 years minimum Equine sales experience. Must be knowledgeable in
Equine and related products. Must be organized, flexible and customer
service oriented. Strong communication, sales, team leadership and
project management skills required.
Responsibilities include serving as the sales representative for selling
products & services to farmers, during farm visits. The location
generates about 9 million dollars in volume, with 35% in Feed sales and
35% in agronomy sales. Heavy emphasis on Horse Feed, and assisting
retail personnel in the sale of products to customers in the assigned
territory. Sales are mainly outside sales, however, will be required to
work inside when needed.
