Description

The position provides administrative and clerical support in a variety of functions to the James River Ranger District and the Warm Springs Ranger District.  Incumbent will spend time at each unit with the majority of time on the duty station at James River. The incumbent plans and implements procedural aspects of projects in areas such as purchasing, personnel, and budgeting.  Recommends and implements administrative plans and procedures designed for maximum flexibility and effectiveness and provides direction in the application of these guides in meeting constantly changing programs and priorities.  Supervises a GS 326-5 Office Automation Assistant (JRRD) and a GS 1101 5 Timber Sale Accountant (WSRD) and a GS 304-4 Information Receptionist at (WSRD).
