Future of Higher Education and Life Sciences Research (9/1/2006)

Peter McPherson, president of the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges (NASULGC) and former Michigan State president, addressed the future of higher education and life sciences research in relation to accountability, study abroad and internationalization, competitiveness, and the reauthorization of the Farm Bill. The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences joined the Vice Provost for Outreach and International Affairs and the colleges of Natural Resources and Veterinary Medicine to host the event.
