Stephen Kleiber is the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration in Virginia Tech's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, including the Agriculture Experiment Station and Virginia Cooperative Extension. He joined CALS in August 2004.
Stephen earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and master's degree in Urban Affairs and Planning from Virginia Tech. He served as graduate assistant to Minnis Ridenour, the Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer for the university.
Upon completing his graduate studies, he worked in Virginia Tech’s central Office of Budget and Financial Planning. Stephen then turned his attention to local government budget and finance where he served as Budget Administrator and Finance Manager in the County of Roanoke, Virginia for six years. He returned to Virginia Tech lead the finance and operational aspects of Continuing and Professional Education within Outreach and International Affairs in 2001 before finding his way to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in 2004.
