Ben Grove joined the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in January 2007 as the assistant director of development. In 2010, he was named associate director. Grove helps lead college, departmental, and unit fundraising strategies to support unrestricted, endowment, and capital projects. In this role, Ben works with individuals, corporations, foundations, and other groups to accomplish their philanthropic goals with the college and Virginia Cooperative Extension.
Prior to joining the college, Grove worked in the meat and poultry industries in sales and quality assurance. A native of the Shenandoah Valley, Grove received his bachelor’s degree in animal and poultry sciences and his master’s of business administration from Virginia Tech. Grove and his family reside in Blacksburg.
