Jennifer Jones joined the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences in February of 2016. Before joining Virginia Tech faculty, Jennifer was in a leadership position in the public school system in Richmond, Virginia. She has been in the education field for over fifteen years and has previously worked with students of all ages.
Jennifer currently works in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences program office as the Assistant Director for the Online Master of Agricultural and Life Sciences. The scope of her work includes processing new applications and responding to inquiries about the program, maintaining current graduate student records, advising newly enrolled students, teaching the Ethics and Orientation course, and assisting students with the management of their student records. She also manages the OMALS website, the Canvas student resource project site, and the faculty resource project site.
