AAEC 4324: Rural and Regional Development
Rural and Regional Development is a great advanced economic development class. It contains a good blend of the history and current state of rural America as well as the policies and forces that affect it today. Dr. Alwang makes the class more relevant by relating much of the issues to Virginia and bringing in different economic development professionals who work in surrounding areas. If you are interested in economic development, poverty, or welfare policy this class will be especially interesting.Eli Mefford, B.S. in Applied Economic Management '20
