Online Master's in Agricultural and Applied Economics

Combining applied economics with data science, this fully online master's program is designed for working professionals in both industry and government who want to advance their careers and prepare for in-demand, high-level positions in a variety of fields including food and ag, finance, supply chain logistics, etc. This program combines economic fundamentals with big data, data analytics, and programming using tools like R, and applies them to real life challenges and opportunities in the food and ag, natural resource, and energy sectors so students learn how to frame and answer both business and policy questions. The 30-credit, 24-month program is cohort based, giving students built-in support, and culminates in a capstone course that allows student teams to apply the knowledge they learned throughout the program to help solve challenges facing real businesses and industries.
