Learning Objectives
Having successfully completed this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply Pavlovian and operant contingencies in reinforcement-based training interactions;
- Demonstrate strategic conditioned reinforcer and reinforcement delivery mechanics;
- Develop procedures designed to increase and maintain behavioral variability and learner choice;
- Adapt punishment-based procedures to reinforcement-based procedures;
- Adapt training decisions trainer based on animal behavior and data;
- Construct training plans based on ethical training principles;
- Demonstrate the ability to shape and chain complex behaviors.
