"Sabrina plays a vital role within the School of Plant and Environmental Sciences; she began working within the Crop and Soil Department, which has since merged into SPES. Sabrina has a wealth of knowledge and experience working within the School of Virginia Tech and our 'go to' for state funding. Sabrina goes above and beyond her job duties frequently when asked to take care of duties or is asked questions that she does not know Sabrina does not pass them along to anyone else, she takes it upon herself to find the answer or complete the task for the individual. She is trusted upon her peers for her knowledge and expertise as well as other Departments within Virginia Tech. Recently Sabrina assisted with the change in our Directors by explaining our budget and financials to our new interim Director so we could seamlessly transition with no issues."
