Welcome to the Curriculum Committee website. The committee's responsibilities are reviewing and approving new and revised course proposals, revised undergraduate check sheets, new and revised options, and new degree programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The committee consists of faculty from departments within the college.
If you are new to the course approval process, we suggest you review the University Academic Curriculum Governance site. When you plan to submit a course proposal, please consult with the curriculum committee chair or secretary prior to submission. You, or your designee, must attend the curriculum committee meeting when your proposal is reviewed. This will allow committee members to ask questions for clarification and will help expedite the approval process.
In order to submit a proposal, click here to submit all documentation required including the coversheet (signed by the department curriculum chair, or the department head), proposal, and resource letter and recommendation letter(s) if needed. Recommendations by e-mail are acceptable and should be scanned as a pdf and submitted with the rest of the documentation elecronically.
If you have any questions about the process, please call or email Anna Taylor, 231-6939, email@example.com.
